Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily finance and accounts operations and maintenance of all accounting transactions
Perform account analysis and reconciliations including preparation of journal entries
Keep account books and systems up to date
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders, Invoices, Credit Notes, and other related documents
Analyze invoices and deliveries to ensure correct products were received and at the agreed price
Schedule and manage outgoing payments
Review and manage company expenses and petty cash
Follow-up on payments collections, Bad debtors, dunning process
Respond and coordinate with customer and supplier queries and issues in a timely manner
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Review accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy and compliance and suggest recommend corrective actions
Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities
Prepare and review balance sheets, profit/loss statements, cash flow and other related reports
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT declarations
Preparation and submission of WHT declarations when required
Review and verify Zakat Yearly declaration
Administering payrolls
Comply with Saudi GAZT rules, requirements and regulations by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations
Prepare documents and coordinate with GAZT and external auditors as required
Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager

Requirements/Qualification and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess most of the following:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance or Business Administration
2-10 years accounting experience
Well versed in Microsoft Office especially Excel, and accounting applications
Sound understanding of accounting standards
Ability to work to strict deadlines/ time management skills
Excellent written & verbal English communication skills
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and computer skills
Knowledgeable in KSA tax and comfortable in communicating with GAZT and other government agencies in KSA is a plus
