Job Title: Arabic Trainer
Experience Range: 8-10 years
Location : Abu Dhabi

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional training courses to meet all of the training requirements
  • Develop the training curriculum which includes training for all major components of each of the system
  • components. It shall cover topics such as (but not limited to): Installation, Configuration, Testing, Dayto-
  • Day operations, Maintenance, Fault-finding and trouble-shooting
  • Develop and deliver Train-The-Trainer materials and courses for Manafth to allow them conduct training
  • for new staff

Develop and submit training plan for each training course with the following details:
o Course Title
o Course Objective
o Target User Group
o Course Type (Business or Technical)
o Estimated Duration
o Training Location
o Training Language
o Course Content / Curriculum
o Course Material (Reading Materials)
o Associated certifications (if applicable)
  • Obtain Manafth approval on Training Plan prior to provisioning of trainings
  • Manafth may request to interview the proposed trainer at least thirty (30) calendar days before start of
  • the training. If the trainer is not approved, the Bidder shall provide a replacement to meet Manafth’s

  • requirements and start the training on time
  • Manafth may elect to survey (through interviews) the first set of trainee to determine the effectiveness of
  • the training. The Bidder shall incorporate any suggestions generated as a result of this method into the
  • course prior to future sessions of the course

6.7.1 Trainer Qualifications
  • The Bidder shall provide trainer(s) with the following qualifications:
  • Five (5) year of experience in the course system and area of technology
  • Three (3) years of experience in undertaking training or knowledge transfer activities
  • Ability to deliver the required training in Arabic or English or both depending on the targeted user group
  • and training type

6.7.2 Training Material
  • The Bidder shall provide training material according to the following requirements:
  • All training material shall be in new, unused condition
  • Manuals shall contain clean, legible copies of all written material and visual aids used by the instructor
  • Training material shall contain the same procedures as taught in the class
  • Training material shall be furnished to Manafth for continuing education purposes in hard and soft
  • copies
  • Manafth shall have the opportunity to preview all courses content and material at least thirty (30)
  • calendar days prior to the first class of each type of training
  • Laminated User’s Quick Reference Guide to be provided to trainees
  • All training material shall be approved by Manafth before conducting the training sessions
  • The training material shall incorporate into the course improvements suggested by Manafth in the
  • manner of delivery, course content, audio-visual aids, and/or hand-out materials prior to the delivery of
  • the course

6.7.3 Training Courses:
Training courses shall adhere the following requirements:

  • The Bidder shall conduct end-user training in Arabic or English or both as required
  • The Bidder shall include end-user systems and equipment training, such as training on the specific
  • systems as described in this scope of work and standard-user training on all of the solution components
  • as a whole
  • The Bidder shall provide each user with a laminated User’s Quick Reference Guide
  • The Bidder shall work with Manafth to incorporate trainee’s feedback into the User’s Quick Reference
  • Guide to reach a final version of the document
  • The Bidder shall record at least one (1) of the training sessions to be used for continuing education
  • The Bidder shall deliver each training session with a maximum of twelve (12) trainees over two (2) days
  • The Bidder shall provide training course profiles for the following categories:

6.7.3.1 Targeting Experts (User) Training
The Bidder shall provide training courses with a comprehensive training program on API solution areas related
to targeting experts including, but not limited to, Risk Criteria Management, Risk Identification & Analysis, and
Targeting Performance Management and tuning. Targeting experts are expected to learn how to define, test,
and manage risk determination and referral business rules, as well as, learn how to perform advanced risk
analysis.
6.7.3.2 Targeting Analysts (User) Training
The Bidder shall provide training courses with a comprehensive training program on API solution areas related
to targeting analysts including, but not limited to, Risk Identification & Analysis, and Alerts and referral
management, and Case Management. Targeting analysts are expected to learn how to identify and analyze
passenger risks and perform how to manage alerts, referrals, and cases. Targeting Analysts are also expected to
learn how to effectively use data discovery to perform investigative risk analysis.
6.7.3.3 Liaison Officers (User) Training
The Bidder shall provide training courses with a comprehensive training program on API solution areas related
to liaison officers including, but not limited to Case Management. Liaison officers are expected to learn how to
support and lead risk investigations while coordinating with their perspective organizations.
6.7.3.4 API Portal Training
The Bidder shall provide training courses with a comprehensive training program on API solution areas related
to API portal users including, but not limited to submission of trade data. Training of API portal shall be
tailored based on user groups (sea agents, land agents .etc.)
6.7.3.5 Report Authors (User) Training
The Bidder shall provide training courses with a comprehensive training program on API solution areas related
to reporting including, but not limited to risk operations, cases, alerts, targeting performance and others.
Report Authors are expected to learn how to modify existing reports, as well as, design and develop new reports
as required.
6.7.3.6 System Administrators Training
The Bidder shall provide training courses with a comprehensive training program on administrative
management of the systems and technical users. It shall entail technical and administrative activities to
understand, configure, manage, diagnose, and problem-solve components of the systems. This includes
technical, system operators and administrators, as well as developers, operators, and administrators of all API
systems.
6.7.3.7 System Support Engineers (Level 1) Training
The Bidder shall provide training courses on maintenance topics that cover all aspects of the maintenance and
support of applications, systems, and solutions of all scope components. Training shall consist of standard
theoretical and practical training for the technologies deployed and equipment installed.
6.7.4 Key Training Deliverables
The Bidder shall provide the following deliverables:

a. Training Plans, including courses description and schedules
b. Training Materials for each course (which shall include training presentations, reading material,
booklets, and tutorial videos)
c. Training Certificates for all trainees (where applicable)
