Job Description

Job Purpose

Develop the export sales business across assigned markets by continuously generating leads and identifying new distribution partners and customers.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Explore new export markets and sales opportunities by generating and developing leads.
  • Identify and develop direct customers and potential distribution partners across assigned geographies.
  • Ensure that Terraco products are specified with major projects by working closely with clients, architects, consultants, municipal / government authorities and other relevant stake holders.
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of exports process.
  • Segment markets to ensure all geographies, channels and product opportunities are properly covered.
  • Work closely with distributors to plan and implement new product and market strategies.
  • Ensure necessary permits, product certifications and approvals are in place for target markets.
  • Coordinate and ensure adequate marketing literature, videos, presentations and other relevant tools are in place to boost export sales.
  • Prepare for sales promotions in target market channels in alignment with distributors.
  • Prepare and participate in trade exhibitions and conferences in export markets.
  • Arrange and complete market and product feasibility studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ International Business / Civil Engineering or similar fields.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in export market handling preferably in the building material industry.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of export processes and related trade aspects.
  • Knowledge about budget management, international trade laws and customs / taxation.
  • Dynamic, well-organised personality with proven ability to take initiative and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Customer-oriented approach with excellent networking and negotiation skills.
  • Written and spoken English fluency required. Knowledge of additional languages an added advantage.
  • Ability to travel extensively required.
  • UAE / GCC Driving License required.
