Job Description:
To work at stations & workshop for electrical and mechanical building systems and machines, supervising
planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and improvements and enhancements.
Provide technical specialist leadership and support for maintenance and operation, product specification and
system design and construction. To maintain fixed and mobile plant

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Capable of reading building services drawings with a good understanding of electrical control systems
  • Working with 3 phase systems and generators
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs for electrical components
  • Coordinate major maintenance and repairs as required to mechanical systems, HVAC, systems, boilers, generators, etc…
  • Knowledge of BMS systems. This will include reactive breakdown and preventative maintenance.
  • Typical equipment includes control panels, lighting, motors and fans. Perform maintenance and minor
  • repairs to community buildings and facilities Check that safety, assurance, compliance, performance and business processes are followed.
  • Manage the process to handover and accept back assets being renewed, installed or modified by projects.
  • Develop and agree annual maintenance, inspection and testing programmes and resource levels.
  • Investigate or review, as directed, failures of Electrical equipment, including cross discipline and cross functional compatibility
  • Participate in, and lead as directed, engineering verification activities.


Performance Indicators
  • Experience of managing facilities maintenance contractors and knowledge of standards
  • Building Services technician qualifications
  • Experience and qualifications relating to fixed plant and lifting plant
  • Have experience of producing logs and or auditing FM contractors
  • Have understanding of asset management principles
  • Have knowledge of testing systems
  • Building Services qualifications
  • Understand and experience of 3 phase and generators
  • Have had experience of doing or managing contractors undertaking minor works
  • Have worked for a contractor or have experience of managing multiple projects at one time
  • Have practical experience of BMS systems
  • Have worked in a safety culture
  • Had experience of representing a client when schemes are project managed to
  • completion
  • Had experience of writing remits and proposals for delivery by others
  • Demonstrate understanding of electrical systems that interact with mechanical
  • Have audit experience

JOB CONTEXT:
Plan and manage the execution of all electrical system and machines service and repairs.
Request electrical system and machines spare parts. Undertake routine and reactive maintenance

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (ILLUSTRATIVE NOT EXHAUSTIVE):
Internal: Communication with the Area supervisor and other team members.
Collaboration with Nariyah warehouse. respond to instruction and direction from the Area supervisor
External: If necessary spare parts suppliers, machine manufacturers.

FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
  • Acting according SAR machines operation and technical rules.
  • Provide the technical lead on Electrical systems and equipment.
  • Encourage an awareness of the importance of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE)
  • issues and good workmanship by regular communication with all staff and make all stall aware of
  • SAR’s policies for reporting accidents/incidents

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
Essential
  • At least 3 years at relevant position.
  • Knowledge of modern electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of Diesel Engine Generators / Engines
  • Substantial relevant experience of Electrical Engineering
Desirable
  • Engineering management experience involving technical and business risk assessment
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, industry and company standards.
  • COMPETENCIES:
  • Electrical engineering application excellent skills, planning and organizational skills.
  • Languages: Arabic and English very well written and spoken.
Requirements:
  • Joining Availability: Immediate
  • Valid & Saudi Transferable Iqama
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in Railway Industry.
