Job Summary: overall purpose and objective of the job

To develop business for Cisco in Pakistan through
  • Channel Engagement
  • Engagement with Cisco in country team
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building of a business plan that will elaborate on the focus areas required to successfully develop a small business model for Comstor
  • Channel Engagement: Conduct a channel audit to identify the channels that will be recruited, those that need enablement and the ones that need to be grown
  • Vendor Engagement: Work with the Cisco team
  • Driving Sales: Collaborating with the sales team/marketing manager and technical consultant to achieve results
  • Owning the numbers for the territory by providing of timely and accurate Sales pipeline updates, co-ordination with Internal Sales AM’s for timely execution of commitments to the channel.
  • Keeping abreast with current products and technologies. Understanding the S-business product portfolio and updating oneself to be able to give sales pitch/training/presentations to partners on S-business product portfolio.

Person Specification

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within IT Industry
  • Self-starter with proven sales ability
  • Suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Will have the ability to develop a Business Plan for the region and execute upon it
  • Ability to work in a team and deliver results with tight timelines
  • Needs to have techno-commercial acumen
  • Needs to be familiar with latest trends and technologies in the networking field
  • Preferably familiar with Cisco solutions and add on complementary solutions
  • Preferably working in the Cisco Channel in Pakistan
