We are looking for a talented communications leader for our new Solutions and Services Group (SSG) to help shape Lenovo's journey in service-led transformation.

Position Scope:
Reporting to the Director of Solutions and Services Group (SSG) Communications, the Communications Manager, SSG manages the organization's external communications programs worldwide. The position is primarily responsible for assisting the Director in the development and implementation of communications strategies in close collaboration with Lenovo's other business groups (BGs) and worldwide communication team, supporting global business objectives.
The incumbent will plan and execute external communications programs that enhance SSG's reputation through a clear, strategically aligned campaign plan. This position will also support to the Global Director in the development and implementation of speaking engagement plan, working closely with SSG spokespersons in the Product Offering Development, Sales, and Service Delivery units.
Finally, the position will support internal communications and analyst relations as needed and as designated by the Director of SSG Communications.
Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning: Responsible for development and execution of strategic communications plans in collaboration with the Director of SSG Communications and the senior leadership team, particularly the broader marketing and brand and enablement teams

  • External communications: Develop messaging, presentations, speeches, and other communications deliverables for external audiences, including media and analysts, to support business objectives

  • Cross functional liaison: Together with the Director of SSG Communications, work closely with colleagues in other BGs and the worldwide communication teams, including social media, ESG communications, as well as investor relations

  • Other projects: As assigned by the Director of SSG Communications

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of work experience in corporate communications or public relations, in-house and/or agency

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese

  • Strong and versatile writing skills in English and Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional) demonstrated through a broad portfolio of samples

  • Experience in the technology or industrial service sectors desired

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism/public relations, business, or English candidates with background in other subjects are welcome to apply granted they have relevant work experience

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint required working knowledge of graphic design (e.g. Photoshop) and Web publishing software a strong plus.
