Job Summary
To represent AECOM internally and externally as the leading voice in the construction industry and go-to source for delivering accurate and up-to-date market advice on capital projects, maintaining our consistent, current, high value market intelligence outputs and developing the internal data-driven capability that underpins it all. Identify and build new digital products and services in the project, program and cost management environment through innovative use of emerging tools and technologies.
Outline of Duties:

  • Collation and publishing of cost rate libraries.

  • Bespoke statistical analyses based on client and AECOM data.

  • Inflation and indexation studies.

  • Database development and data management activities.(including cost, carbon and asset data).

  • Development of bespoke software tools & digital solutions.

  • Monitor/track and report on issues that impact on construction market for both built environment and infrastructure sectors.

  • Collect data from AECOM teams and sources, embedding best practice data collection into the business.

  • Drive digital collection of data - both internally and externally.

  • Maintain and grow network of external sources to gauge market opinion and information on pricing and issues.

  • Lead co-ordination and collaborate with colleagues in the production of the AECOM Middle East Handbook.

  • Produce quarterly market forecasts and indices - tender price inflation - for both built environment and infrastructure sectors.

  • Analysing of information and identifying trends or market changes - proactively reporting on same through Thought Leadership articles.

  • Review trends in procurement routes and strategy.

  • Co-ordinate with other end markets \ geographies within AECOM.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years relevant experience

  • Construction analytics

  • Construction data analysis

  • Ability to analyse data and convert it into quarterly construction business intelligence reports

  • Thought leadership

  • Strong Power BI skills

  • Proficient in automating reports

  • Appreciation for construction economics
