Job Description

This position is responsible for the deployment, administration, management, and
support of Course leaf and provide technical support and assistance to faculty, staff and students in the
effective utilization of the application. Responsible for providing a complete administrative service for one
or more department, ensure that all matters are dealt with efficiently and appropriately handles details of a
confidential and critical nature.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
 Work with the register office and the banner administrator on cleaning and updating the banner data
 Manage and organize the Course leaf deployment administration, management, maintain and support of
Course leaf working closely with the university Information Technology Services team
 Develop, coordinate, and conduct instructor-led and online training
 Provide for data integration between banner and Course leaf
 Create and document banner data update process
 Coordinate between various HBKU stakeholders and vendors and ensure response to vendor in a timely
manner after obtaining necessary approvals.
 Regularly update HBKU stakeholders about the project progress relevant to scope, schedule and cost.
 Delivery of all required documentation and information to leapfrog in a timely manner.
 Coordinate the assignment of projects tasks and responsibilities internally
 Lead and Ensure key administrators and end-users participate in testing and training and provide timely
feedback
 Coordinate the necessary approval of the functional specification document and direct Leapfrog to begin
active development, thus triggering substantively complete specifications.
 Ensure key participants, prepare for, attend and participate joint meetings and reviews.
 Be responsible for working with stakeholders to upload the necessary applications data for testing as well
as for production
 Escalate any project delays or deviations to stakeholders
 Act as first level of support for end users on any application issue
 Perform top-level troubleshooting of technical issues related to application functionality. Track and follow
issues through to resolution, including communications to all stakeholders.
 Identify and consider both the business and the technical needs of customers with the goal of providing
quality solutions that meet the user needs. Configure, execute, test and implement the solution. Ensure that
solutions implemented align with HBKU’ standards
 Develop documentation related to design, configuration, processes/workflow, integration/interface
requirements and training.
 Develop and maintain troubleshooting and solution process and procedure documentation in order to build
and enhance the knowledge base
 Filter and check all the go live are met by vendor and stakeholders before going live including but not
limited to setup, configuration, testing, data upload, training, access, and documentation.
 Evaluate and ensures the performance and reliability of the applications by checking its high availability,
load balancing, and satisfactory response time.

EXPERIENCE :
 5+ years’ Enterprise Application Administration and management in equivalent full-time work experience.
 Experience in maintenance, support, configuration, or implementation business applications
 Knowledge of the Ellucian Banner system; knowledge of research technologies is an advantage
 Knowledge of any Course leaf or any course catalogue system is a plus
 Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
 Knowledge of relational databases and SQL Querying.
 Understanding of cloud computing and cloud-based application services.
 Experience working knowledge with Open-Source software; experience with version control, and testdriven development

EDUCATION :
 Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field from an accredited 4-year college
