A German multinational company having their regional office in Casablanca / Morocco is looking for aCustomer Service cum Logistics Coordinator
Position Summary:
The job incumbent coordinates logistic activities within the Maghreb and West Africa market and contributes to growth and profitability in this specific market. He/she conducts Customer Service Activities, generates and coordinates Customer orders and planning for the Maghreb and West Africa region. Additionally, candidate supports logistic strategies.
Main Accountabilities:
Ensure on-time delivery of Customer orders-Starting from placing of orders till Invoicing and delivery, mainly Drop Shipments & direct shipments from Vendors to customers.
Coordinate the complete Supply Chain from placing the order to Inter Companies to Delivery to our warehouses and then to end customers.
Co-ordination and assistance in SCM projects with customers and suppliers
Regular analysis of SCM KPIs (e.g. Delivery performance, Fill Rate, Customer Service Excellence, On Time Submission of Documents, Optimum Inventory Management )
Export-Import Customs & Shipping Documentation Management for deliveries to & from the Region.
Co-operation with sales department
Close communication & coordination with forwarders & 3rd party Logistics providers
Implementation of internal optimization measures
Operational coordination and local expertize
Purchasing and RFQs for logistics services ( Shipping, WH,& other related services)
Stock analysis and replenishment
Assistance in operative SCM processes
Support the management of the customers in terms of correspondence and various issues related to the activities of commercial support

  • Inventory days & Stock Holding Target
  • 3PL Operational KPI (Transport & Warehouse Mgmt, Inventory accuracy, Dock to Stock)

  • Internal & External Working Relationships
    Internal: HQ, Production plants & Master Distribution Centers, Sales, Marketing/Product Management, Quality, Controlling, Purchasing, HR, IT.
    External: Customers, Distributors, 3rd party logistic providers, Forwarders, other external Suppliers
    Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
    Studies of Business administration or equivalent field of education or work cumulated experience
    Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in logistic processes including Customer Service Mgmt.
    Business acumen, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work under pressure
    ERP knowledge in logistics modules ( SAP )
    Leadership and entrepreneurship skills, Cross-functional thinking, communication skills
    Willing to travel and intercultural understanding
    Fluency in English & French (written and spoken),
    Skillful handling of MS office applications( well versed in Excel & Power Point)
