Job Description
  • Develops and maintains the services for data center clients that provide a competitive edge for organization in the mission critical service industry.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the data center team.
  • Develops, documents, and implements data center policies and procedures.
  • Ensures and verify that all data center quality standards and certifications are being implemented and maintained.
  • Ensures and verify that service delivery is being maintained in accordance to the client Service Level Agreements.
  • Observes, maintains, and documents data center team performance.
  • Manages and implement data center construction activities, certifying results in a commissioning Report of Record.
  • Develops gap analyses, recommendations, and action plans in a consulting role to data center executive leaderships and managers.
  • Performs analysis of mission critical facility systems following data center failures, developing reports and recommendations on operation improvements to prevent or lessen the impact of the Data Centre failure on IT equipment.
  • Develops and reviews scope of work, contracts, and costs, committing the resources of organization in fulfilling client expectations for commissioning, consulting, assessment, and analysis work.
  • Liaise as required with client and IT operation on issues affecting the data center performance and delivery.

Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
  • (8 – 10) years’ experience in Data Centre services or Key Account Management Functions working with national or international organizations in the context of IT products and Data Centre Services.
  • Proven history of successfully interacting with customers and delivering solutions which meet customer expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of the data center services business
  • An excellent aptitude for finance and decision making
  • Specialized training in data center operational standards
  • Exceptional planning and organization experience
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Strong people management skills
  • Local market knowledge preferred
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management.
