  • Analyze, plan, design, coordinate, and maintain the development, maintenance and operation of databases in Organization, and its subsidiaries. Responsible for the development and continuous appraisal of all systems policies and procedures related to Database. Secure database integrity, architecture, and warehousing and/or business analysis.
  • Understand the technical environment, infrastructure, database and applications needs for existing database
  • Apply appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay informed with the latest technologies, and maintain industry best practice for quality
  • Provide hands-on, technical database support which involves support of production related databases and software.
  • Ensure availability, serviceability, support and coordination between Development and Production Teams and follow the change procedures for any upgrades or changes on database and database system
  • Ensure that pro-active measurements of systems are done on time to prevent unnecessary system downtime and to ensure data driven applications are performing and operating with the latest available data.
  • Followthe change control for IT to minimize impact and downtime of Database and systems
  • Manage installations, configurations, monitoring and support of the information in databases and database server infrastructure
  • Configure Databases and Systems to ensure smooth and reliable operation and integration for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
  • Ensure the associated hardware resources allocated to the Databases and Systems are appropriate to maintain high availability.
  • Collaborate with management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term Database and System needs.
  • Conduct research on products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the Database and System industries

  • 3 to 5 Years of relevant IT experience. Experienced in the use of Microsoft SQL Server administration
  • Experience of Microsoft operating systems, server hardware and networking.
  • Experience of supporting developers and technical end users and supporting web and commercial database applications
