Job Description
Develop and manage the Facilities Management (Hard Services) function to provide safe, efficient, cost effective facilities management services (Hard services). Plan and oversee the Facilities Management (Hard Services) activities in all locations and ensure provision of reliable high standard services in a timely and cost effective manner. Provide advisory support to General Services - Northern Emirates Northern Emirates Department facilities management operations.
Facilities management Strategy
Development, implementation and oversight for strategies, service delivery plans, policies, procedures and performance evaluation for all Facilities Management functions under Client's General Service’s responsibility. Ensure effective contracts performance management and monitoring for Facilities Management including successful mobilization, performance monitoring, monthly contract performance evaluations, payments certifications and contracts close-out.
Facilities Management Operations
Planning, Management and Oversight for day to day facilities Management operations including MEP systems maintenance services, specialized systems maintenance services, Civil and fabric maintenance services, Façade and Window cleaning services, Heavy duty cleaning services among other day to day operations required to ensure quality assurance, operational and cost efficiency.
MAC (Moves, Adds and Changes)
To plan, design, execute and manage MACs within the corporate office environment.
Performance Management
Oversee the performance of Facilities Management service providers including reviewing and approving routine reports, monitoring the performance of Facilities Management resources through building walk-around visits, weekly operations meetings and monthly performance meetings.
Capital enhancements, retrofits and upgrades
Planning, Management and Oversight for all projects of a capital nature including Civil/fit out works and MEP system upgrades within established budgetary and quality targets and ensuring project objectives are met. Business Continuity management system
(BCMS) for Facilities Management
Development and implementation of Business Continuity management system (BCMS) for each of the Buildings and systems under the responsibility of client's General Services Division, to ensure seamless continuity and/or prompt recovery of critical operations in the event of emergencies and/or unexpected breakdowns.
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Chartered or Certified level with IFMA, AEE, BREEAM, CIBSE or IWFM.
10 years’ experience in managing facility management, space management & energy management/retrofitting.
Competency in English Language.
Competency in Computer Aided Facilities Management Systems.
