JOB SUMMARY We are recruiting for a talented and creative Multi-Property Director of F&B Marketing to oversee the marketing and communications for our restaurants and bars across a growing portfolio of Marriott International hotels including the JW Marriott Marquis Doha, Marriott Marquis Doha, Marriott Executive Apartments City Center Doha as well a number of new Premium and Lifestyle hotels and outlets that will open over the course of the next 1.5 years. This role requires a creative thinker ideally with excellent knowledge of the Qatari / Middle Eastern market restaurant scene. The Director will be responsible to deliver the marketing strategy, building awareness and driving preference for the properties Food & Beverage outlets. The hotel's F&B marketing communications strategy includes partnerships, advertising, promotions, outlet positioning, public relations, website, social media, digital and printed collateral. As the Multi-Property Director of F&B Marketing you will work in partnership with the Food & Beverage department (including the Director of F&B, Director of Event Management and Director of Restaurants) to maximize outlet revenues. The Director will create marketing plans for the hotels restaurants & bars and manage all affiliations, partnerships, and website listings along with associated promotional activity. The ideal candidate will have experience in a previous F&B marketing role and great understanding of social and digital marketing, experience in relevant F&B partnerships and have a passion for Food and Beverage. The Multi-Property Director of Food & Beverage Marketing is responsible for driving the overall F&B marketing strategy and brand development of the outlets through the creation of new venues and prioritization of existing venues. The Director will also supervise a team responsible for marketing, graphic design, video production, and social media activities supporting the outlets. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education & Experience 4 year or master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major. At least (8) eight years of experience in a sales, marketing, promotions, or related field, preferably with a focus on food and beverage. Previous experience in F&B Marketing for a 5 star internationally branded hotel or stand-alone restaurants / lounges is essential. Experience in Middle Eastern markets is desirable. Prior experience opening new hotels and F&B venues is desirable. Previous experience marketing products in F&B, nightlife, or retail through a variety of consumer outlets. Previous experience with content management systems, and social media platforms. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop brand strategy, marketing plans, and prioritization of projects across all F&B venues. Plan all F&B marketing-related activities for property. Partner with key stakeholders to understand and drive the overall business. Partner with marketing leads across the cluster of properties to ensure brand success. Develop and implement property-specific innovative strategies including budget considerations, marketing goals, and 360-degree activation plans to support the hotel's business objectives for the F&B segment Build and maintain excellent relationships between the Marketing department and the Hotel's Sales, Revenue, and Operational teams as well as Area Marketing, Sales and Revenue leaders. Ensure goal alignment, efficient communication, and delivery of results. Activate F&B brands through a calendar of events, activities, and story-telling content. Support and localize global/regional campaigns to generate demand in local market. Build partnerships with local brands (with Continent brand and partnership approval) to nurture the brands and broaden hotel F&B exposure. Manage F&B Digital Marketing initiatives and campaigns in collaboration with EMEA Digital Field Services Teams (Websites optimization, online advertising, demand-generation campaigns, email marketing, etc.). Oversee the F&B content and social media strategy for Hotel outlets. Develop and update F&B sales collateral material working collaboratively with Sales team. Works collaboratively with local, regional, and national resources to build awareness and increase exposure for the restaurants and lounges. Solicits new media outlets and F&B media individuals. Selects the best opportunities for the hotels F&B outlets based on market conditions and hotel needs. Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for multi segment sales opportunities. Conducts site inspections, FAM trips and media tables with visiting F&B journalists. Creates contracts as required for location photo shoots, trade agreements, etc. with appropriate approvals. Identifies and coordinates community service activities in conjunction with the public image and needs of the F&B outlets Increases awareness within the travel media community as well as coordinating events to gain exposures and grow revenue in the restaurant outlets. Maintains F&B website content and updates website with new promotions in order to generate additional revenue. Champions all Marriott tools and resources such as EPIC, eFAST, MDAM, and Guest Voice. Provides F&B related strategic counsel, issues statements and supports Executive Teams at hotels. Directs all F&B creative print fulfillment ensures corporate branding standards and legal compliances are met and incorporated into collateral. Develops F&B ad layouts, creates copy, selects photography, and provides creative expertise for local/regional ads. Works closely with Events Booking Center and Events to promote events and supports with creative initiatives and activations to drive Catering, Wedding and Group Business Investigates placement in all relevant third-party F&B search sites. Maintains creative and timely relevant social media calendar to grow social media audience and drive fan engagement across all F&B outlets in line with Marriott's brand standards. Manages the TripAdvisor page for the outlets and responsible for responding to guest comments and questions, and ensures content and imagery are reflective of the outlets/brands. Manages all F&B Marketing, Digital Services, Public Relations and Marketing Communications activities. Conduct performance analysis of past F&B programs/events and adjust strategies accordingly to enhance future initiatives.
