Job Objective
The role holder will be responsible for maintaining the low voltage installations and provide any additional support/setup for events associated with the areas of the clients business.

Job Outputs and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance of LV switchgear and small power room equipment(s) for different areas within the clients compnay
  • Overlook and maintain the power distribution network to all the rooms and different areas around the premises.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of power distribution boards and associated power equipment.
  • Execute and monitor all maintenance activities around the premises
  • Maintain circuit power for lightning, A/C and other required systems
  • Maintain the required spares for electrical system.
  • Should be able to identify and rectify electrical faults.
  • Provide additional support/setup required for the events.
  • Should be able read and understand the power network drawings and SLDs.
  • Check the associated electronic controllers and control gear
  • Oversee various lighting/power sockets installation as per electrical safety standards
  • Perform other tasks and duties as directed by the Manager, Electrical
  • Suggest and oversea any necessary upgrade in the system to cater for the requirements.
  • Keep the system downtime minimum.
  • Perform tasks assigned in the given timeframe.

Nature & Scope
  1. Job Context: This is a position that requires initiative, self-supporting and a high degree of flexibility and hands on approach. The Electrical Engineer is fully responsible for maintenance of low voltage installation to ensure smooth operation of all equipments at all times.
  1. Reporting Relationships: This role reports directly to the Manager, Electrical and has no direct reports.

  • Problem Solving: The employee must ensure and thoroughly familiarize himself with all the facilities and equipments and must be able to answer the call for any breakdowns and action it accordingly.
  • Decision Making: The jobholder is required to prioritize requests and decide which are critical and action immediately and complete others within agreed timeframes.
  • Planning and Organizing: Ensure contingencies in place to minimize service failures.
  • Job Challenge: The key challenge of this job is to deliver the highest levels of service.

  • Job Requirements(Minimum level of education, professional qualifications, background and years of experience and desired competencies required to do the job).
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years work experience
    • Experience in Installation & Maintenance of Large Electrical projects would be an added advantage
    • Good written and verbal communication (English) and interpersonal skills, Arabic language is an advantage
    • Being flexible and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
