Job Summary:
We seek a dynamic, service-oriented, energetic and self-motivated Executive Housekeeper to join our Marriott Marquis Family. The Executive Housekeeper will work closely with the vibrant and diverse team coming from all across the globe at the iconic and trendsetting property in the very heart of Doha. This is the place to be if you want contribute and participate in the main sports, cultural and business events in the region!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Offer outstanding level of service by anticipating guest’s needs and implementing best housekeeping practices
Ensure the team’s development, motivation, and recognition, establish open and transparent environment among the team. Resolve team member’s concerns fairly and timely.
Play an active role in arranging and facilitating decoration, botanical arrangements, other sensory programs in different hotel areas, preparing and justifying ROI projects, rooms/section renovation projects, consolidating and implementing uniform concepts.
Responsible for overseeing the success of all functions in the Housekeeping area including; supervising the cleanliness and turning of guest rooms, guest services, schedules, cleanup of all hotel areas including lobbies, public areas, bathrooms, guest floors, bars and restaurants, spa and recreation areas.
Actively participate and engage the team to participate in hotel and company activities and celebrations, social corporate responsibility events
Ensure the housekeeping team is equipped with sufficient tools and resources
Responsible for financial performance of the department
Responsible for compliance with brand standards, safety and security regulations, hotel and company policies and procedures.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
·High school diploma or GED; 4-6 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area as an Executive Housekeeper
·Proven track record in building and managing high-performance teams.
