Export Sales Manager - FMCG
NADIAs client, a well-established group producing world class hygiene products are looking for an Export Sales Manager to be based in Dubai (or Qatar) and handle GCC & African market.
This is a new role within the company and Export Sales Manager shall develop sales within Middle East and GCC countries including Iraq, Syria and potential African countries.
Main responsibilities:
Identify new markets for exports and appointing distributors, provide market support by planning a sales campaign suited to the target markets, manage sales administration (orders, contracts, monitor sales performance of distributors), develop sales team if necessary, market data collection and monitor market/customer trends etc.
Accountabilities:
  • Develop, gain approval and ensure implementation of Sales strategy and plans to materialize the overall Business growth in line with Strategic Business Plan and Budget.
  • Develop an efficient and effective Organization-Department structure of Sales in line with company business objectives that ensures delivery of results.
  • Develop Annual Plans and Sales Forecasts for Department in line with Business strategy and Business Plans and ensure implementation to meet the agreed objectives.
  • Appoint and nurture development of distributor network in existing and prospective markets to achieve growth of branded products as per agreed strategy.
  • Develop and ensure implementation of appropriate sales promotions and trade- marketing activities and other initiatives in order to deliver profitable growth.
  • Develop and ensure implementation of System and Procedures so that customers are valued and long-term relationships are secured.
  • Develop and ensure implementation of approved Credit Policy so that Companys resources are protected and customer needs are met effectively in a competitive market.
  • Ensure development and succession of employees in the department and keep the sales-organization future-ready.
  • Recruit and train staff in order to have a team of highly competent and committed people to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure the training and development of the sales team so that best practices, including cross-category/business/market learning, is embedded within the organization and that business continuity is maintained.

  • Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor and preferably Master Degree in Business Administration from a recognized university / Business school.
  • 10 years of international experience with an FMCG company in sales and marketing & out of which at least 3 years of experience in handling hygiene products like Baby Diapers, Sanitary Napkins, Adult Diapers and Maternity pads.
  • Go-To-Market Business modelling
  • Must be able to speak Fluent English and Arabic
  • Driving license from any GCC country
