Job Description:
To be responsible for procuring and contract administrating minor works projects and framework contracts
across the buildings portfolio,

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • .Site inspection of works and data collection on support of asset managers
  • Procure and administrate contracts delivering mechanical, electrical and civil engineering projects
  • Assist in the auditing of facilities maintenance contractors Verify works undertaken on site for payment
  • Manage work banks and budgets for minor works

Performance Indicators
  • Experience of project management
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in the administration of maintenance works and minor projects in a railway environment or industrial environment
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in the delivery and supervision of maintenance works and minor projects in a railway environment or industrial environment
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience
  • To have had programme management experience


JOB CONTEXT:
To support the infrastructure Structures’ Manager and team, in administrating and managing a minor works
and projects. To be financially qualified to undertake financial control of FM maintenance activities

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (ILLUSTRATIVE NOT EXHAUSTIVE):
IInternal: Maintenance Director and Maintenance Department Managers, Supervisors and Engineers
External: The Engineer, Contractors and operators of depots and stations

FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
  • Responsible to the Structures Maintenance Manager :-
  • Acting according SAR governance and technical rules.
  • Encourage an awareness of the importance of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE)
  • issues and good workmanship by regular communication with all staff and make all stall aware of
  • SAR’s policies for reporting accidents/incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES:

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional financial or quantity surveying qualifications and or construction related degree

EXPERIENCE

Desirable

- Understanding of the engineering requirements of work on the railway
Essential
- Relevant experience in the successful programmes of works and engineering projects.
- Commercial knowledge to effectively manage contractors and large programmes of minor works.
- 10 years working in a railway or heavy engineering environment
Requirements:
  • Joining Availability: Immediate
  • Valid & Saudi Transferable Iqama
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in Railway Industry.
