Job Description

  • Dispatch acts as a support function for all field activity and ensures that the field forces are routed and loaded properly to maximize utilization and productivity.
  • The Dispatch job role works closely with multiple field-based job roles and schedules or adjusts work assignments for field personnel. Dispatch personnel assign and expedite work orders and the other field-based job roles then perform the actual tasks.
  • Dispatch may interface with any field-based workers, including Managed Services, NRO/Build, Broadcast, and Digital Services.
  • Dispatch may also interface with direct customer agencies, end customers, external contractors as well as with internal teams such as MSIP, PMO, and NOC.
  • Work Force Management tool (WFM), Customer-owned or Ericsson-owned.
  • Customer Ticket systems.
  • Spares databases/systems.
  • Site access databases/systems.
  • Site information databases/systems.
  • Customer-specific systems, as required.
  • Dashboards and reporting tools.
