Job Description

Reporting to the GM, and managing the Finance team, the Finance Director will oversee and direct financial management, financial reporting and accounting, treasury, budgeting, tax, and benefit payments.
Main responsibilities:
- Make sure the right resources and financial policies, systems and procedures are in place in order to issue accurate and timely financial reports to support commercial decision making.
- Ensure enforcement of adequate accounting and reporting controls and services.
- Direct funds management activities (funds, securities and assets) in order to meet specific investment goals.
- Issues financial and operating reports in order to evaluate the Group’s consolidated financial position.
- Leads the preparation of the Group’s strategic 5-year business plan and submits it to the GM/Board for discussion and approval.
- Manages the budget process while keeping Businesses, Finance Managers and the Executive Team involved and informed.
- Directs the analysis and consolidation of all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports.
- Coordinates with Business Managers in monitoring the cash and bank positions for each one.
- Establish financial performance measures (financial KPIs) to determine and evaluate the Group’s financial performance and monitor progress.
- Stay up-to-date on and analyze economic, business, and financial studies in order to determine their impact on the business.
- Establish financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance throughout the group.
- Recommend funding needs for Businesses.
- Oversee the IT department functions and review department operations.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce or economics,
- CPA or CIA is highly desired
- 15 years of overall experience with minimum 8 years of managerial experience in a large oil & gas organization
