About the role:
We are looking for a capable Financial Analyst to support the finance function with deliverables which are used by the Senior Management and Group management (Strategic Plans, Budgets, Cash Flow reports, New Investments, IANs etc.). Responsible for all the Group & Divisional reporting tools including BPC, IFRP, BIW, Anaplan, Tableau, etc. Financial modelling - creating feasibility reports to accurately forecast the business results and financial outcomes including Income Statements, Balance sheet and Cashflows forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in developing suitable business MIS to encapsulate all the key performance indicators: financial, commercial & operational.
  • Provide effective and timely Management Reports - financial and operational reports and dashboards to Business operations that enable Automotive companies to manage their operations.
  • Collect data from both internal and external resources on various types of costs. Income and expense projection and variance analysis.
  • Enter the final set of data in the feasibility model and prepare financial feasibility analysis in such a way as to present an accurate, complete, clear picture of the business, reflecting expenditure, place, marketability, recovery period and profitability enabling the management to assess the viability of the project.
  • To deliver robust P&L and B/S reporting and analysis; and timely insight into operational performance. To provide timely advice on variances, trends and corrective action to be taken.
  • Developing the monthly regular & irregular financial reports, submit them to Al-Futtaim HQ as well as posting actual, forecast & budget financial results into SAP system for financial consolidation of the group.
  • Cashflow management - Direct involvement with group treasury to manage cash flow requirements.
  • Month End Closing - This role involves direct involvement in month end closing activities in terms of ensuring accurate expense booking and review of all closing comments to be discussed with the VP & retail management.

About You:
To be selected for this opportunity, you must have the following skills and experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CA, CMA or MBA Finance will be an added advantage
  • Functional Experience: Business model, financial analysis, forecasting & budgeting: Minimum of 5 years experience on Accounting/MIS reporting role
  • Understanding of business processes and basic IT functions, management and accounting principles
  • Computer literate - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and particularly with financial modelling in excel, MS Excel: Expert Level, MS PowerPoint: Expert Level
  • Team Player, Analytical, organized and goal driven
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
