Job Description



Our client, a global IT consulting firm is looking for Functional Consultants (Supply Chain Management)tobe based in Dubai.The purpose of this position is to implement and support Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules as per the Business requirements. Responsible for converting Business Requirement into System implementation in Oracle Cloud.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and support of business solutions.
  • Responsible for gathering requirements, performing analysis/design, testing and documentation.
  • User training to maintain and improve overall Information Systems performance.
  • Support implementation and production issues in Oracle Supply Chain Management.


Key Accountability


  • Gather and document business requirements, lead fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, end user training.
  • Conduct solution design workshops.
  • Develop business process designs, perform functional configuration, and perform unit testing.
  • Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Identify functionality gaps and provide solutions for them.
  • Write function design documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions.
  • Support business users with the execution of test scripts.
  • Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables.
  • Provide status and issue reports to the project manager/key stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Consistently produces clear and concise status reports.
  • To work in collaboration with oracle support for resolving critical bugs.
  • To work independently on projects and production support with minimum supervision.
  • Working with solution architects and technical SMEs to translate project requirements into solution designs, project estimates, and activity plans.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent.
  • 6 - 10 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in a similar environment and 3 - 5 years of expertise in at least 3 - 4 modules across Oracle Procurement, Inventory and Advance procurement modules like Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, Procurement Contracts, Supplier Portal, and Core Procurement including Self Service procurement.
  • At least 2 - 3 End to End implementation experience of Oracle Supply Chain modules.
  • Ability to understand the business requirement and functional specification documents.
  • Ability to produce artifacts such as fit gap documents, configuration documents, test scripts, training documents.
  • Ability to do Fusion Application Configuration Testing.
  • Knowledge of application to application integration on public cloud, using Oracle Integration cloud or SOA is desirable.
  • Determination, self-motivation and an eagerness to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, working in a dynamic business environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work remotely and independently in support of Clients/Business.
  • Ability to work with Multicultural environment across the world.
