Job Description:

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall day-to day business and management in accordance with the Business Plan, instructions and guidelines determined specifically or generally by Directors of the company. Furthermore, he will ensure lean production and continuously to implement cost optimization programs that ensure that the company always has an efficient, competitive and well-run business.


Duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop and continuously improve the company towards world class manufacturing and lean production for decreasing cost per item at incremental volume.
  • Plan the development, approval and execution of strategies and KPI´s as stipulated in Budget/Plans approved by the Board of Directors.
  • The GM is full responsible for P/L, cash flow and CAPEX.
  • Plan and maintain systems and procedures for operating continuous efficiency.
  • Ensure that the company is well administrated and that processes are de-scribed and documented in accordance to the Quality Management System and HSE System, SLS, GMP and HACCP.
  • Ensure that the employees have the right competences/qualifications and they are developed to maximize potential through KPI setting/ performance management.
  • Participates in the board meetings by invitation and prepares board presentation.
  • Monthly Management Reporting, as per set standards, and deviation comments.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience from a similar role covering the full value chain, having Commercial, Co-packing/Bottler, and production insight. Experience with full P&L responsibility as well as management/leadership, Financial cost controlling, Supply chain and procurement.
Prerequisities - Experiences:
  • A Master’s degree in Business Management combined with strong technical in-sights
  • Business economy and understanding of accounting

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Arabic and English

Mandate:
  • The GM is committed to follow the target guidelines that are given by the Board of Directors.
  • The GM can act within the frame of the approved strategies and budgets for the company.
  • Employment and dismissals should be approved by one level up management.
  • Further mandate to be announced.
Reporting:
  • The GM will be reporting directly to the company's Board of Directors through the Chairman.
  • It is the responsibility of the GM to keep the Board of Directors monthly up-dated on all important issues which could be of interest to them and to follow P&L reporting standards and procedures.
Travel Activity:
  • Travel as required. The GM is expected to be available for and flexible with personal time commitments when business travel is required.
