Job Summary
We are looking for a General Manager with strong omnichannel customer experience to join our fashion division to lead3 of our luxury brands across the region. This is aphenomenal regional opportunity offering a highly ambitious candidate the opportunity to drive brand strategies and growth within the GCC market.
Our General Manager is responsible for designing and implementing the strategy, goals and objectives, setting budgets and commercial targets of their brand(s) in alignment with the Vice President's strategic direction for the short and long term.

In addition, our General Manager is responsible for driving the development of their brand(s), predominately in its growth through new projects, whilst also reviewing and supporting the management of the current operational growth of retail/wholesale, commercially and financially.

Our General Manager will enable our business to achieve results through driving the capability of its human capital and promoting knowledge and information sharing whilst ensuring compliance within the Group's guidelines.
Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic:

  • Develop the business plan of the brand(s) in line with the strategic direction and omnichannel vision of the Group and seek the buy-in of the Vice President (where applicable) or President.
  • Agree on portfolio's commercial KPIs for the year with Vice President/President (where applicable) and cascade to team accordingly continuously monitor progress and development towards strategic objectives
  • Participate in strategic meetings with suppliers, marketing, merchandising and regional teams to negotiate commercial conditions (margin, animations, exclusivity)
  • Partner with Group leadership and run projects that enhance efficiencies around cost and time (i.e. any transformation or automation projects)
  • Build a strong and solid relationship with the brand stakeholders and participate in strategic management meetings
  • Continually scan competitive landscape and technology advancements to identify best practices, emerging trends, and innovation opportunities

2. Operational:
  • Ensure that investments are accurate and set up the business for growth and profitability.
  • Review brand's P&L on a monthly basis to ensure remedial plan is implemented
  • Leverage data analytics to better understand customer needs/trends, assessment of current experiences, and competitive insights to identify opportunities to maximize customer engagement and lifetime value

2. People Management:
  • Lead the brand's People strategy and make sure a full action plan is in place
  • Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing team to achieve brands vision and business plans milestones while influencing and leading across business units and executive functions
  • Create and foster a Culture of Growth, respect, entrepreneurship and collaborative mindset.
  • Participate in Group's succession planning by identifying and growing high potential team members
