Our client maintains a reputation since the year 1980 of being one of the most popular distribution, retail and production of beverages and food organizations in Bahrain.
They are currently looking for a Head of Consumer Division to be based in Bahrain.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations and revenue generation of the Consumer Division and ensuring its continual growth.
  • Manage the Food Division handling all food and beverage-related brands as well as Tobacco.
  • Manage the Non-Food Division focusing on health, wellness, hygiene, and personal care.
  • Work with the Principals in conjunction with the marketing teams to finalize marketing plans for each brand, stating the agreed sales and marketing promotional activities for the coming year.
  • Oversee the product portfolio and the final decision on all range issues.
  • Manage the Consumer Department channels by reviewing reports on sales and gross profit to ensure targets are being met.
  • Manage all streams of communications and liaise with Principals to achieve a consistent set of standards, which are benchmarked against international best practices.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for Principals, communicating with them on regular basis regarding related activities and dealing with any queries or issues that arise.
  • Lead and guide the team during the stock forecasting and ordering process.
  • Responsible for the overall strategic direction of the business as it strives to be the number one distributor within Bahrain.
  • Identify potential new principle and business opportunities that lead to the transformational change of the business.
  • Identify and retain unique talents around the team to form more focused and results-oriented members who can apply fundamental principles to drive and grow the business.
  • Provide the Line Manager with monthly reports about monthly Performance, Cost & KPIs.
  • Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.

Qualification & Requirements:
  • 10 years in various Senior Management Roles
  • Proven success in managing, developing, and motivating staff
  • Strategic thinker able to communicate, implement and manage practical, effective strategic solutions
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Proven people management ability to lead, manage, motivate, coach, and develop a team
  • Decision-maker commercial acumen
  • Change Management techniques
  • Practical application of management and leadership techniques
  • Bahraini nationals are preferred
