Description and Requirements
Reporting directly to the Nordics & Benelux HR Director you are an agent of change in the market and the business at large. Working across all aspects of the function's remit you own the implementation and success of HR initiatives for the Nordic market. You will also be the culture custodian and will exemplify Lenovo's culture and ways of working.
At this level we regard you as a source of expertise in the HR arena and count on you for executing on HR strategies and providing operational HR excellence. To be successful in the role, you will need to build a proficient level of business acumen during the first year and partner effectively with the business leaders.
Your responsibilities
Work closely with local market management across Nordics countries to support their organizational needs to achieve their objectives.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders across the overall organization both within the market and outside.
Enable business strategies through effective partnership with the leaders
Address HR challenges head on and implement plans to execute the HR priorities for the market.
Drive change at team level and coach managers to improve the overall team engagement.
Coach managers to effectively deal with employee relations matters.
Demonstrate pragmatism and strike mutual solutions with the business leaders
Demonstrate and leverage the experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement and talent analytics.
Support the managers to implement their people plans for recruitment, training, restructuring and succession.
Analyse human resource metrics and drive data-based decision making.
Mitigate risk of potential legal action such as employment tribunals.
Knowledge and Skills
Communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively at different levels of organisation. Ability to comprehend and communicate the business strategy to the employees.
General skills
You will need to be a true generalist, with a good understanding of the many different responsibilities of the function (e.g., business partnership, employee relations, Learning & development, rewards, compensation & benefits).
Coaching skills
Ability to coach mid-career and senior managers in complex business and employee related challenges.
Relationship management
Foster a positive and a pragmatic relationship with the business and the employee population.
Employment Laws
Comprehensive understanding and experience of labour law in the Nordic countries preferably Finland and Sweden.
Negotiations
Strong experience in Union relations and negotiations.
Education And Experience Required
A university degree preferably within HR Management, Psychology & Business Administration.
Experience as HR Partner in another organisation with min 6 years of experience.
Proven and relevant experience within an international and commercial environment.
Proven ability within an operational role.
Spoken languages English and Danish- Finnish and/or Swedish is a plus
