- To be the project delivery team point of contact for ISP/OSP related aspects.
- Verification of Sub-Contractor designs submitted as part of the project.
- Preparation of ISP/OSP Scope of Works (SoW) for the Sub-Contractor as required by the project.
- Liaise with other employees, UK MoD and Sub-Contractors during the installation.
- Ensure the test results are acceptable and presented in the approved format.
- Provide support to other project team members as and when required e.g. Configuration Control reporting, Test and Acceptance, etc.
- Verification of As-Built documentation as provided by the Sub-Contractor.
- Review and agree design requirements for project sites as determined by project schedule.
- Liaise with other employees/Sub-Contractors during the delivery phase and ensure any changes to the design are correctly approved and recorded in line with company's processes.
- Assess Government Furnished Assets (GFA) - including rooms, buildings and equipment to be re-used for suitability and advise on any remedial works that may be required.
- Responsible for the technical assurance of ISP/OSP infrastructure delivered under the project.
- Responsible for the writing and/or provision of technical descriptions for associated ISP/OSP installations for inclusion into the project data pack e.g. Site Hand Books, System Design Document, etc.
- Maintain a daily record of task progress and activities, readily available for inspection. Ensure all relevant H&S and design standards are met at all times.
- The post-holder will be expected to uphold effective Engineering relationships with a wide stakeholder group including:
- Site Lead Engineer (Collaborative working relationship)
- Installation Design Engineer Team Lead (Functional reporting line)
- Other regional Installation Design Engineers
- Configuration Engineering
- Construction Engineering
- Regional OM&T as required
- UK MOD regional Liaison Officers as required (SANGCOM - Customer 1) MofNG Engineers as required (Customer 2)
