The Employee Health & Benefits Sales Producer is responsible for prospecting for sales leads on new accounts, achieving sales goals, and servicing existing accounts with regard to employee health and benefits insurance products.
  • Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate a list of prospective clients. Capitalizing on business insurance and private client cross-selling opportunities and implementing marketing campaigns to meet sales objectives.
  • Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the risk to be insured, and to discuss any existing coverage
  • Customize insurance programs to suit customer needs.
  • Obtain quotations and present proposals explaining features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of products.
  • Contact carriers and submit appropriate forms to bind coverage and ensure that all policy requirements are fulfilled.
  • Service existing client's needs, analyzing insurance program and suggesting additions or changes as needed.
  • Confer with clients on claim related issues.
  • Provide clients with compliance guidance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Life & Health Insurance License
  • Previous employment in a sales-related position.
  • Good oral and written communication skills including good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Personal computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
