Job Description

A Kids Club/Teens Club Manager is responsible for providing a caring and safe environment for children in the Kids Club to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while running daily operations of the Kids Club.

What will I be doing
As a Kids/Teens ClubManager, you are ultimately responsible for providing a caring and safe environment for children while in the Kids Club to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Kids Club Manager will also be required to run the daily operations of the Kids Club and develop team members:
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Strategic oversight of educational and enrichment programs for the appropriate age groups in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Create structured programs for day to day members and hotel guests that include wide spectrum of physical, artistic, musical, educational, Etc
  • Create structured programs for holiday camps and special events e.g. Halloween
  • Run daily operations of the Kids Club including rostering, supervision, quality control
  • Provide a caring and safe environment for children while in the Kids Club/Teens Club
  • Prepare a clean play area before after each session with the necessary equipment
  • Undertake administrative duties for the efficient running of the Kids Club
  • Advise on the purchase of toys and equipment and ensure all toys are safe and appropriate
  • Ensure national standards for Kids Clubs are met
  • Promote the Kids Club and other center activities via database, advertising
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate health and safety standards in the working environment and follow company policies and procedures
  • Work in close partnership, develop and maintain good relationships with parents
  • Manage employee relations, recruitment and complying with the annual PDR process
  • Responsible for developing team members
  • Manage the department within budget and use resources effectively
  • Flexible working hours

What are we looking for
A Kids/Teens ClubManager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
  • A certificate in childcare and/or education or equivalent will be an advantage
  • Must be able to pass police checks for working with children
  • Positive attitude
  • Good communication skills, other languages and advantage
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Must have previous experience in a similar role e.g. shipboard
  • Excellent grooming standards and health
  • Knowledge of child development
  • Ability to work on their own or in a team
  • First aid certificate
  • Pool safety certificate

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Experience and ability to deal with challenging behaviors
