Job Description :
The KSA deals manager role is a highly customer-centric position where the deals manager is responsible for creating and implementing the processes to drive the best customer experience possible when it comes to how our customers interact with deals. The right person for this role continuously raises the bar, challenges the status quo and defines and shares best practices.
This role requires interactions with cross category, product and global teams and requires a strong ability to communicate effectively and influence without authority. It involves pro-activity, having a strong back bone and analytical skills and the ability to focus on the highest standards. The key responsibilities for the deal's manager are to:
. Define the local deals experience and tenets setting a high CX bar, work backwards from customer data (customer engagement and deals sell through…) and enforce respect of those tenets among the vendor manager and 3P teams
. Train various stakeholders (retail and 3P) on the deal's expectations, tools and requirements and support them whenever needed to safeguard the deals high bar
. Manage the deals page during business as usual by i) ensuring consistent and continuous deals inputs from VMs ii) reviewing and approving all deals submitted per predefined tenets iii) walking the store to flag and correct/suppress any deal that does not meet the bar vi) track and share the deals performance weekly with the leadership through a deals wbr
. Manage the deals during events: i) Build and circulate the deals tracker to the retail and 3P teams ii) Evaluate the deal quality against predefined tenets and approve or reject the deals accordingly through multiple iterations iii) summarize and share with the leadership a clear view of the event deals status in a clear, concise and rigorous manner iv) share deals post-mortem with clear performance, insights and learnings
. Engage with local and central deals teams (tech and business) to i) learn best practices and apply locally ii) identify CX gaps and fix accordingly to reach global parity iii) identify and implement new deals features to improve the overall deals CX in SA
. Develop and track key performance metrics using Excel, SQL, and other internal Amazon systems,
. Identify opportunities to improve processes, including driving automation, and increasing overall team efficiencies,
. Present complex information in a clear and concise manner to leadership both verbally and in writing
Basic Qualifications :
. Bachelors degree in business, economics or engineering from a top university
. 4-7 years of work experience in data driven environment
. High attention to details
. Microsoft Excel proficiency
. Track record of performance excellence
. Comfort with basic statistical concepts
. Ability to think strategically, while staying on top of execution details
Preferred Qualifications :
. MBA degree
. Some knowledge of SQL and an ability to write basic queries and run existing ones
