Job Description Summary
Technical Application Engineer for Industrial Communication for Microwave Radios Communications & Fiber Optics Multiplexer's SDH, MPLS TP Equipment's. Own the project control activity MENAT Region and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial team. Possesses a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies. To include ITO: Technical analysis of client need: definition and optimization of the products scope (description) schedule industrial scheme cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures. Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases. This also includes OTR part where engineers work on customizing the products and implementing it for specific customer needs
  • Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
  • Deep Domain Expertise in Telecommunications products like Microwave Radios Systems . Fiber Optics Multiplexers, MPLS TP, DPLC, Ethernet Switches etc. Need to work on live projects to propose Solutions for telecoms projects & Automations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, Electronics , Communications, Electrical and relevant field of study from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Customer Support , Pre Sales Support for Tenders, Demos, and Application of Communications Products and field Experience in Oil & Gas / Power Utilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of time in Middle East.

Desired Characteristics
  • Prior work experience in MENAT/ Middle East region .
  • Strong Oral and Communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, prepare high quality work, and to maintain high levels of quality with a heavy load.
