We are currently seeking a Lead Technical Solutions Consultant with strong technical and consulting experience. In this role you will provide technical consulting services that combine architectural vision with hands-on technical experience using some of the latest cloud technologies and methods. ONESOURCE works with the some of the largest and most popular ERP applications and has touch points in the Procure to Pay and Order to Cash process flows. It is expected that you have prior experience working with these business process flows. This role will be based at our Dubai office. However, you will commence and continue working from home until our offices open their doors in the post COVID world. This is a full-time role with frequent travel ( 50%) required post COVID.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Lead Technical Solutions Consultant, you will:
  • Interact with customers to determine their challenges and requirements. Develop and drive large and/or complex business solutions for customers. Provide in-depth solution architecture capability based on the customer's specific business needs.
  • Understand the customer's business by active customer engagement, to determine key business issues. Establish technical credibility with existing and prospective clients to cultivate relationships and envision creative solution strategies that generate additional revenue.
  • Cultivate key trusted-advisor relationships with senior IT executives by demonstrating an understanding of key business challenges within customer markets and how Thomson Reuters technology-enabled business solutions can address those needs.
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance with pursuit teams during the solution development process to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams with RFP responses, opportunity qualification, demonstrations of Proof of Concepts and drive technical workshops.
  • Identify and solve client problems proactively through effective consultation with key stakeholders on the customer's side.
  • End to end ownership of solutions at the client site, including management of projects.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Lead Technical Solutions Consultant if you:
  • Postgraduate or Engineering Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
  • Twelve or more years of Business Solutions / Technical Consulting experience with an in-depth understanding of product life cycles in client facing roles.
  • Experience with Architectural Concepts, Software Development processes and Relational Databases.
  • Experience working with ERPs, Middleware, ETL tools, Reporting and Analytics tools, BI Tools.
  • Experience with Private and Public Cloud hosting, performance tuning.
  • Experience working with solution / product portfolios.
  • Arabic language skills, written and verbal, are highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to persuade others through presentations, demonstration and written communication.
  • Strong communication skills to listen to customers and articulate to internal teams for solutioning.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the 'C' level.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
  • Ability to present ideas, goals, problems, outcomes and processes to be understood by a diverse audience.
  • Ability to articulate and present the business value of Thomson Reuters solutions with a firm understanding of our product strategy.
