JOB SUMMARY The Loyalty & Event Sales Manager (F&B) is responsible for identifying and developing restaurant and catering events within PVQ, fostering relationships with clients and outlet managers to drive loyalty and increase business for the Hotel. The Loyalty & Event Sales Manager (F&B) recommends appropriate venues based on guest budget and needs, leveraging knowledge of Food & Beverage operations. Solicits all information required to enable venues to respond promptly and accurately with an advantage over any competitors. The incumbent is responsible for driving guest loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each guest experience. This position requires excellent selling skills, strong communication skills, and a detailed understanding of each hotel venue and event space. The Loyalty & Event Sales Manager (F&B) is responsible for driving successful F&B Loyalty Programs, in partnership with DOSM, EAM F&B & Director of Event Innovation. CANDIDATE PROFILE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED experienced (1 - 2 years of experience) in the event management or related professional area. OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major at least 1 year experience in the event management or related professional area required. Preferred: Bachelor's degree (BA) preferred or Equivalent combination of education and experience Hotel management training and sales training desired Event operations training desired Previous Experience Preferred: Loyalty Programs Executive Executive Meeting Manager Event Manager - Hotel Event Manager - Restaurant Sales Coordinator - Hotel or Restaurant Catering Manager - Hotel or Restaurant Loyalty Services Manager Similar experience in external environment CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Loyalty and Event Sales Maximization Under direction of F&B leadership and in collaboration with S&M, drive sales to identified venues to achieve budgeted revenues Identify and target optimal accounts in, focusing on PVQ, for Event generation by vetting account lists with Sales with best potential Contact new prospective group/catering customers on a daily basis by phone or email to solicit new business Understand market, identify loyalty & event opportunities to Executive Team Uncover additional needs from guest to foster heightened loyalty and build out guest profiles Gain understanding of the hotel's primary target customer and service expectations Leverage appropriate resources to ensure account saturation and impactful selling solutions Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, identify strategy to exceed expectation Remain engaged with venue managers and client throughout process, greeting guests in the hotel where possible 2 Re-solicit clients for new/on-going business opportunity Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, account and opportunity data using Reservation Management System ensuring call notes and pertinent customer and sales information is recorded Maintain a thorough knowledge of new hotel programs, promotions, and other information to promote to clients Communicate regularly with venue managers, keeping them informed of ongoing sales strategies and leads Build Guest loyalty to increase F&B sales, drive repeat business and F&B reputation in the market Understand all Third Party Brand partnerships within F&B fostering a collaborative mindset at all times Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
