Play Your Part

In This role you are responsible to manage the maintenance, servicing, repairs, manpower, financial planning/projects for the Facilities and Rides & Attractions to be always in a first-class condition. Makes sure staff is working safe and methodical. Strictly implement the theme-parks standards across all areas. Works hand in hand with the operations department to assure a safe and continuous ride availability.
Main Duties:
  • Continually liaise with the suppliers, manufacturers and vendors to ensure all the equipment are fully operational
  • Effective planning/preventive maintenance, annual testing and other programs are thoroughly carried out.
  • Integration of the computerized maintenance management system (MAXIMO) asset management, inventory and processes.
  • Will always remain pro-active towards making any necessary adjustments, ordering spare parts and identifying any problematic equipment.
  • Procurement of the CAPEX and Inventory items.
  • Plan, direct, control and manage all aspects of the Leisure Facility or areas.
  • Actively seeking and implementing cost saving programs in order to provide positive financial results.
  • Development and implementation of the Maintenance Department processes, policies and procedures.
  • Participate in facility/attraction design review processes in order to communicate operational improvements to designers.
  • Oversee facility/attraction installation processes as in order to ensure the installation meets all the requirements set forth in the contract, specifications and drawings.
  • Liaise with the teams for any quick services required under maintenance for rides and attractions.
  • Maximise THRC for all equipment within the parks
  • Efficiently manage the Technical reporting system to ensure reports are generated in accordance with the timelines required and provide accurate and necessary information to optimise efficiency and revenue generation.
  • Ensure all Colleagues within the group are properly trained and utilize all safety equipment issued to them by maintaining 100% compliance in order to reduce workplace injuries and accidents.
  • Manage the recruitment, training and induction programs for the Technical Service team ensuring all members of staff are competently trained in accordance with the theme-parks standard requirements.
  • Compile the budgets and staff schedules for the Facility Management team in a way which will maximise operational effectiveness and minimise cost.
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team

Are You a Star

In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
  • A professional Diploma or Degree in engineering from a reliable school / collage
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in theme park facilities management or building facilities management.
  • Strong people management skills
  • Mechanically and Electrically incline
  • Worked in a system integration environment
  • Understanding/Maintaining of Hydraulic and Pneumatics system
  • Understanding/Maintaining of Electrical and Mechanical system
  • Understanding/ Managing processes and documentations
  • Excel in people movers

  • Electrical / Mechanical worker licenses or certificates of training
  • Hydraulics / Pneumatics licenses or certificates of training
  • WHSE, OHSA, RISK certifications
  • Work at Heights Supervisory Certificates
  • BMS (Building Management System) knowledge
  • Worked as an installer or service provider or maintaining of facilities
  • Worked as an installer or service provider or maintaining of systems integrations
  • Understanding/Managing Risk analysis
  • Understanding Safety/WSHE for across work requirements
  • Reporting and Management skills and communications
