Where Do You Fit In
We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as Manager - Strategic Partnerships - BHQ to be based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will use your knowledge of customers, the industry and competition to identify and pursue opportunities for growth for Honeywell's BHQ business. You will contribute to the broader regional strategies to gain new customers in current markets and to identify ways to penetrate new markets and channels. You will lead a team of local analysts to develop a long term roadmap in securing those new customers by building strategic customer relationships, partnering with sales teams and recommending potential mergers or acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.
What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day
.Engaging with other SBG Product/Offering Management to understand the benefits and alignment of their Product/Offer with HBT and partner with them for joint solution development.
.Execute existing & scout new partnerships related to:
.Different power storage options
.Power sources
.Renewable power capabilities
.Refrigerants, their environmental benefits as well as mechanical/logistical hurdles
.Air Filters
.Sensing and strategically important III party sensing capabilities
.Working with Government relations to provide updates regulatory and governmental processes/proceedings relevant to Honeywell's sustainability and healthy buildings program,
.Working with SBGs and government relations to provide updates on funding programs, surrounding the DoE, EU Green Deal and the EPA Clean air challenge
.Working in alignment with product strategy (STRAP) to drive revenue, orders and gross profit via external partnerships and other SBGs.
.Driving appropriate meetings, introductions and process for enablement with needed organizations to achieve the outcome of Jointly developed Sustainability & Healthy Buildings Sales funnels and Revenue.
.Setting joint sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for regions and cities may be required in conjunction with Sales.
.Stay aware of and communicate long-term market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop a business strategy.
.Developing creative ways to strengthen relationship with sales channels, PMC's & Contractors as measured by sales growth.
.Leveraging other teams for their specialties like Customer Marketing for demand generation initiatives and lead engagement with influencers like consultants.
.Developing sales behavior in the organization for Sustainability & Healthy Buildings with a strong joint sales MOS, through SFDC and other tools, with a strong discipline to achieve business goals (Opportunity Pipeline, Order Booking, Revenue, Collections, Win Loss ratio etc) every Quarter.
.Effectively managing and executing partnership goals including Go to Market Agreements and pricing.
.Executing the commercial process with key strategic partners and Honeywell entities to expand the application of our technology and customer footprint.
.Developing business models and financial arrangements with partners and Honeywell entities that drive revenue for Sustainability and HB.
What Skills and Experience Will You Have
.Postgraduate degree in business management or equivalent
.10+ experience years in large multi-national organizations
.7+ years Architecture, Design and/or research in the building technologies domain
.3+ years demonstrated experience functioning as a technical leader
.Deep understanding of HVAC systems, applications of Indoor Environmental quality parameters like Air quality, Lighting, and others
.Working knowledge of offering/product management
.Working Knowledge of Sustainability, ESG reporting and Healthy Buildings
.Familiarity with standards and regulatory guidance bodies like WELL, LEED, GBAC, NABERS & Wiredscore
.Familiarity with regulatory bodies like UL, ASHRAE, CDC, WHO, USGBC, AIHA
.Ability to identify new and run existing partnerships associated with above mentioned experience
.Strong written and oral communication skills
.Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
.Strong experience of working with senior & C-suite roles
.Ability to provide thought leadership to Industry Forums, Events, Speaking opportunities, customer/partner conferences etc.
.An advisory board/task force/technical committee membership
.Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing and terms/conditions of Partnership contracts
.Strong Presentation skills and the ability to drive customer needs
.Knowledge of the market and trends related to Sustainability, ESG reporting and Healthy Buildings
.Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
.Be knowledgeable for new products and applications as they are introduced
