JOB DESCRIPTION
Role : Marketing Category Manager
Location : Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:
- To establish, lead and manage strategic procurement activities of the Marketing spend category adhering to Category Management process
- To deliver an optimized service, quality and cost offering to internal clients of Vendor Management and Centralized Department (VMCP), ensuring service excellence through demonstrable customer satisfaction and significant cost saves.
- Lead major negotiations and procurement activities including the full Procurement lifecycle
- To recognize, understand and contribute toward the medium to long-term objectives of VMCP, Marketing Department and ADIB
Support the Head of the department deliver value to the Business plan
Key Metrics for Category Manager Marketing:
- Increase spend under influence of Vendor Management and Centralized Procurement
- Drive competitive tendering to enhance value for money
-Develop annual procurement planning to ensure targeted approach to market spend category
- Conduct findings assessment and gap analysis and document priority actions/roadmap
- Conduct vendor rationalization
-Conduct contract review exercise to identify opportunities for cost savings and enhanced service offering
-Proactive engagement with external stakeholders (vendors) Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
  • Experienced in media buying and marketing procurement activities
  • Awareness and understanding of procurement
  • Excellent negation skills
  • UAE experience
