Job Description Summary
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
Assist the material fulfillment function including managing critical material reviews with external vendors and MRO network. Work towards quick resolution of site material needs with strong sense of urgency. Put away and pull materials in alignment with production plan and KPIs.
Participates in assessments, read across and PFMEAs to identify and understand sources of defects. Promptly identifies and escalates risks to leadership and works with team on solutions. Complies with policy and procedure.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
Physically prep assets to be received or shipped (direct material, indirect material, tooling, consumables) includes but not limited to expediting, follow-ups and tracking shipments.
Kitting and Issuance of parts as per production schedules.
Coordinate with finance and supports procure to pay cycle.
Coordinate tooling management at the site
Supports management of site inventory by performing periodic cycle counts also Optimize
Coordinating for periodic disposition of scarp
Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Participating in LEAN initiatives at the site including Kaizen events.
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
Required Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics and/or Distribution Operations
Availability to work flexible shift patterns as required, including nights, weekends and holidays Ability and willingness to support calls during off-hours when emergency situations arise. GE On Wing Support is a 24 / 7 / 365 operation.
Desired Characteristics:
Exposure to MRP's and related material planning concepts.
Knowledge of ERP systems preferably SAP.
Can-do attitude and commitment to business objectives.
Basic Knowledge of Aircraft Engine parts.
Exposure to Global Export/Import procedures, ITC.
Exposure in logistics of Economic Free Trade Zones.
Exposure to EASA Part 145/ GCAA regulation in regards to material, tooling and consumables. control.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt (preferred).
APICS certifications (preferred).
