Job Purpose
Oversee branded retail and wholesale operations across all Emirates Official Store platforms. Ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved across these channels whilst safeguarding the brand integrity of EOS and aligning with CCMB core objectives.

Job Outline:
- Oversee operations at all Emirates Official Stores within the UAE (currently Emirates Group HQ, dnata Travel Centre and Emirates Group Technology Centre) ensuring financial targets are met and CCMB standards are maintained to a high standard.

- Manage the business relationship with Dubai Duty Free, arrange delivery logistics and ensure new product is injected into the business on a regular basis. Maintain wholesale margins as agreed by Manager Merchandise and ensure revenue targets and profits are achieved.

- Be the first point of contact for all retail operations at The Dubai Mall. This currently consists of The Emirates A380 Experience Flight Simulator, concessions at Kidzania National Store, Aquarium Store and At the Top Retail Store. Assist the Manager Merchandise with contract updates and any marketing communication requirements. Financial targets are also part of this objective in line with each year's budget.

- Ensure inventory management is monitored in each outlet along with a detailed standards and procedures document for each part of the business. Organise annual stock-takes and any flash stock takes that may be required during the financial year.

- Maintain a 12 month rolling marketing calendar across all channels. Work closely with the entire merchandise team and if necessary other parts of CCMB to ensure synergies are captured.

- Assume leadership on any Special Projects related to branded retail that occurs during the Financial year, assisting the Manager Merchandise with detailed budget breakdowns and visualisations if required.

- Be fully knowledgeable of the Retail Point of Sale system ensuring it remains compliant with audit requirements at all times. (Latest system due to be installed June 2022). Oversee any future enhancements or required integrations on this product.

- Lead, mentor and develop a team of retail supervisors and shop assistants ensuring financial targets are met and CCMB standards are maintained to a high standard.

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :
Experience:
Experience in Retail Operations and looking after multiple areas of businesses is essential. Previous experience of leadership in the form of managing a team of individuals is highly preferred.
Knowledge/skills:
A strong grasp of understanding the value of the brand and how Emirates Official Store works as a brand experience is vital. A good understanding of the airline industry, apparel, sporting and cultural knowledge and how they link together through sponsorships and events is preferred. The ability to work on simultaneous projects, at times unsupervised is a critical requirement.
