Oliver Wyman is looking for an IMEA Head of Marketing join us to support the IMEA Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer in driving Oliver Wyman brand awareness and commercial impact within the IMEA region.
The Opportunity:
As IMEA Marketing Leader you will be a thought leader and partner to the Core IMEA Management Committee IMEAMC and to the Marketing Partner by leveraging a deep understanding of the business, aligning recommendations with firm and regional strategies and priorities, ensuring integration and collaboration with key Oliver Wyman functions, industries and capabilities, and being accountable for delivering results according to an agreed upon Marketing Plan and key metrics of success. To do so requires leveraging Marketing best practices, data, discipline, talent, and culture and an understanding of the different markets under the IMEA region.
The successful candidate will lead the Industries, Capabilities and Functions supporting IMEA marketing while working closely with global marketing functions and centers of excellence, as well as key Functions integral to marketing success. The candidate's broad responsibility is to ensure that the marketing staff is aware of priorities, engaged and empowered to execute against priorities, constantly learning from each other and the market, and feel a valued part of the Oliver Wyman culture/team. The candidate will work closely with the Marketing partner and the IMEA Managing Partner in setting the marketing strategy for the region and regularly communicating progress, as well as seeking input directly from internal and external clients.
The IMEA marketing head oversees the IMEA marketing organization, its regional budget and, in conjunction with Global Talent Management and Operations, define a service model and operational engine to fit the IMEA business. The IMEA Marketing Lead will also have the role to coordinate with internal peers, such as Talent Management, HC, DTP and others to ensure marketing also plays its intended role in pushing the institutional agenda of the IMEA region.
The Head of Marketing will also work closely with the IMEAMC to ensure culture, belonging and cohesion, and information flow across the marketing team and that mutual respect and awareness is nurtured.
Who we're looking for:
·You will have at least 10 years of relevant Marketing experience, including a significant period in the Middle East
·Experience of working with Top Tier Management Consulting firms or professional services firms is required
·Marketing expertise - you will be experience in building brand and commercial opportunities through focus and alignment with business priorities, convening communities that matter, executing an agile marketing operation to be responsive to fast paced news cycle, and engaging key clients with high quality content and events that resonate
·Regional Marketing Ecosystem connectivity: you will understand the different stakeholders/service providers of marketing in the region and is able to optimize engagements to execute the marketing strategy
·Experience with India and South Africa also very desirable
·A proven track record of success in leadership positions is essential

  • Trustworthiness and empathy - Considered a role model in building trust-based relationships across the firm and having strong EQ particularly important for team going through a realignment transition

  • An innovator mindset and creativity - Proven track record of creating next generation marketing operations, thinking out of the box to take marketing to the next level

  • Team and Content Leader: Able to shape and drive the marketing agenda in line with business priorities, self-starter and navigator. Act as a role model and a motivator for the marketing team
