  • Meeting with client to discuss the adjustment of timing plans, for AM Peak, lunch time off Peak, PM Peak, afternoon off Peak, evening, and weekend.

  • Manage future changes and adjusting the operations and timing changes of the junctions.

  • On-street review of junction and pedestrian operation including daily site visits

  • Ongoing adjustment to plans upon approval from client's Engineer to maximiser efficiency

  • Assisting Engineers in making specific plans for special events (e.g. EID, Ramadan, etc.).

  • Ensuring effective operation of the junctions by daily on-site monitoring, to act quickly on any issues.

  • Monitoring and reporting of major site activities together with maintenance teams on the rectification the faults and site status feedback to center manager whenever demanded for fault confirmation and fault closure.

  • Monitoring the commissioning of changes to the signalized intersections and pedestrian crossings.

  • Recording of all activities related to infrastructure with photographic evidence properly time stamped during an event or incident or fault.

  • Prepare monthly progress reports, the report shall include all relevant issues affecting operations such as maintenance defects, and issues identified.

  • Prepare monthly staff schedule and submit to client for their approval seven (7) calendar days before subsequent month.

  • Assist in technical presentations to the client management, if requested.

  • Prepare and submit a yearly Key Performance Indicators report.

  • Respond promptly to complaints and suggestions received from customers.

  • Promptly coordinate with Client’s representative in order to ensure timely response to the customer.


  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics or Communications Engineering with 5 years of experience, 3 of which are in a similar role.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic

  • Commitment to safe work practices

  • Experienced in UTC/SCOOT and ITS systems is an advantage.

  • Have experience in using Microsoft Windows-based software applications and word processors.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, especially with junior staff.
