Job Description

• The auto centre operation managers have to manage all the operations in an auto centre
• They firstly have to hire /assess staff for the auto centre. The staff includes workshop staff, salesmen, service advisors, estimators, etc.
• They must have to leadership skills to motivate, coach and develop subordinates to deliver high quality results
• They have to set rules, regulations, and policies for the auto centre employees to follow
• They have to ensure that the auto centre staff have the right PPE in order to complete the job in an efficient manner
• They have to ensure that the auto centre is state-of-the-art and is stocked with all the latest equipment, spare parts and to provide the best services
• They have to keep a close watch on all the numbers of the inventories and the stock of material present with the centre
• They have to ensure that deadlines are met by the mechanics when it comes to completing repair work on a customer's car
• They have to measure customer satisfaction and repeat jobs in order to arrive at first time repair as ensure /sustain customer loyalty
• They have to have knowledge to ensure compliance to legal and regulatory requirement in running the auto centre
• They have to work with vendors, clients and insurance companies to develop and maintain positive business relationships
• They ensure that the auto centre is running in profits and they have to attract customers through various forms of advertising /campaigns by working closely with marketing team
• They have to look for places where there can be improvement and improve the overall performance of the auto centre and look at areas to diversify the business, evaluate plans and proposals and recommend changes to improve quality, reduce costs or otherwise bring proposals in line to our requirement
