Role:

  • Leads the ORAT People Workstream, reports directly to ORAT Lead, the People lead ensures that all MTC stakeholders are prepared for the start of operations in line with the overall ORAT programme from a people perspective.

  • Develops the people strategy with each stakeholder to address organizational design & development, recruitment & staff deployment plans, technical, familiarization & operational procedure training requirements.

  • Develops, manages and monitors the people plan and operational readiness across all stakeholders.

  • Acts as the Single Point of Contact - SPOC and escalation point for all people matters associated with the overall ORAT programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Engages stakeholders and establishes the ORAT People workstream and working groups.

  • Defines objectives and agrees people strategies with stakeholders to address recruitment and training/familiarization plans and ensures these are budgeted appropriately.

  • Develops the People Workstream plan in line with the ORAT programme and in close collaboration with stakeholder SPOC's.

  • Identifies dependencies, key status and review milestones in line with the D-360, 180, 90, 60, 30 ORAT countdown to MTC opening.

  • Ensures that all stakeholder staffing, training and familiarization plans have been reviewed and meet the demand and performance objectives of the MTC.

  • Develops the training and familiarization strategies for technical training, general familiarization and job specific familiarization (SOP training) in close collaboration with each stakeholder.

  • Manages the development of staff engagement and familiarization materials, such as promotion materials, course materials, guides and staff handbooks are prepared to enable familiarization

  • Develops, manages and monitors the technical, familiarization & job specific training plan across all stakeholders.

  • Manages the People workstream and meetings and tracks people readiness across all stakeholders.

  • Manages the resolution of all people related issues, identifies and escalates any threats to the overall ORAT programme.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required.
