Job Profile Summary
  • P&C Placement Leader uses information about market practices, pricing and underwriting policies to match clients insurance needs with appropriate carrier coverage. They coordinate with advisors and client executives to evaluate and select the best insurance carrier coverage quotes for clients. A P&C Placement Leader is a recognized subject matter expert, making an impact has an influential individual contributor by managing large-scale strategic projects, coaching team members and solving complex problems.

Job Profile Description
  • Instructs placement strategy by utilizing risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to develop placement solutions that meet complex client needs.
  • Develops methods for the go-to-market strategy and provides input on pricing of services supporting client retention and new business production.
  • Advances portfolio solution discussions with markets to create efficiency and market leading programs.
  • Guides strong working relations with carriers and or underwriters to create innovative approaches to unique client needs and provide cohesive client service.
  • Audits and finalizes commission structure with underwriter in accordance with client direction and agreement.
  • Works towards achieving Placement set KPIs from Yield, Retention and Conversion perspective.
  • Achieves a thorough understanding of changing insurance and risk market conditions and informs client teams, clients and carriers of major developments affecting various types of coverage.
  • Applies advanced knowledge to the firm's product lines by active participation in internal networks.
  • Devises new products and innovative solutions that address complex client needs.
  • Leads complex placement/technical support activities on big accounts, such as ensuring procedural compliance, reviewing data and updating annual renewal exhibits, maintaining accurate placement system entries, to ensure contract execution as required
  • Consults managements on highly complex client issues or trends through clear and concise communication and drives development of solutions to drive excellence in customer service.
  • Continues to invest time and effort in the progression of talent in the team via knowledge sharing and career path trainings
