JOB DESCRIPTION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Provide personalized coordinated care and support for patients and family.
  • Treat people with dignity, compassion and respect.
  • Measure and mix ingredients to make bread, rolls, pies, pizza and cakes.
  • Weigh materials in order to ensure appropriate quantity.
  • Cut, mold and weigh material to ensure appropriate and equal parts that each batch has correct quantities and uniform appearance.
  • Place pans in oven and set oven temperature.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and the oven temperatures is in accordance to the infection control standard point.
  • Spread sprinkles and other decoration on baked goods.
  • Ensures appropriate storage of baking utensils and supplies.
  • Make sure that baking equipment is cleaned and maintain properly.
  • Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of working area and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Hospitality Degree or equivalent.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :
  • 6 years relevant experience in hotels or 5 Star Restaurant.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral some knowledge of Basic Arabic an asset.

COMPETENCE:
  • Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations
  • Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.

REQUIRED ATTITUDE TO PERFORM THE JOB:
  • Proper, effective and compassionate communication.
  • The ability to communicate with and gain the trust of people from a range of backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to deal with a variety of circumstances that need immediate action.
