About the role

Our People Experience Team is responsible for partnering with the global Leadership team as their strategic trusted advisor on all things People & Culture.
You will work as the link between the global Leadership team and wider People & Culture team, balancing business needs and the people strategy to support in designing all elements of the colleague lifecycle - what we call moments that matter.
As a trusted advisor, you will partner with the global Leadership team to build long term strategies on engagement, retention and driving high performance. You will provide direction and counsel on all people matters across complex matrix structures and geographies to ensure that the experience is a great one regardless of location and team.
The People Experience Partner (PEP) will play a critical role in building the function from the ground up and educating the business on the importance of partnering with the People Team to add value as a trusted advisor. This role has a high level of autonomy and will operate / deliver through strong relationships with our global Leadership team, People Managers at all levels and our People & Culture Centre of Excellence (COEs) Leads.

Key Accountabilities and Tasks

Partnering
  • Build strategic partnerships with business leaders to craft long term strategies for colleague engagement, retention and performance to ensure stability during our hyper growth phase
  • Understand the business in depth, to support in designing and shaping future workforce plans, operating model and org design aligned to Foodics mission & goals
  • Provide org health data to discuss performance, span of control, engagement, retention, feedback, recognition, attrition and turnover etc.
  • Partner with business leaders to build and design future focused ways of working in a hybrid / remote work setting

Influencing
  • Deliver on core people initiatives through educating and influencing the business on the importance of key people activities throughout the year
  • Work in partnership with the People Systems & Analytics Team to utilize data to highlight risks, opportunities and influence key business decisions
  • Analyze and leverage people data to identify trends and recommend proven solutions and action plans that improve key engagement and retention drivers
  • Act as a voice for the business, when partnering with the People & Culture COEs to shape meaningful people initiatives such as onboarding, succession planning, career development, performance management, recognition etc. balancing the people strategy, business needs and the colleague experience
Coaching & Development
  • Provide direction to Leadership and People Managers on the Foodics way to ensure the experience they provide colleagues is a great one regardless of team or location
  • Effectively manage sensitive people matters through coaching People Managers, providing guidance in a discreet and confidential manner aligned to local labour laws and culture
  • Provide expertise in designing and delivering targeted solutions including change management, team building and performance interventions
  • Educate the business on the future of work, including skill gap analysis, workforce modelling and future location / operating model predictions
Requirements:Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies:
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources / CIPD Level 7 in Human Resources, or any relevant higher education
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role within a People & Culture team partnering as a strategic HRBP with business units of 200+ headcount over multiple geographies
  • Excellent command in English and Arabic, written and spoken
  • Experience in building long term engagement and retention strategies
  • Experience working with multiple cultures, geographies and labour laws across Middle East, Europe & North Africa
  • Proactive, organized, resourceful and drive impact
  • Strong desire to help people and build a great place to work
  • Ability to articulate information in easy to understand formats and narratives for multiple audiences
  • Strong presentation, communication and listening skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make sound judgement calls independently
