Position: Policy Control and Risk Manager
Location:Neom
Role Purpose:Carrying out responsibilities of the Policy Control and Risk Manager, Compliance and Oversight within the Finance and Accounting Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Interface for the Neom internal controls, risk and audit teams
- Development and Oversight of Delegation of Authorities matrices, SLAs monitoring/reporting
- Policy/procedure documentation
- Project risk management coordination
- Preparation of policy and internal control documents
- Monitoring and measuring policy and internal controls adherence
- Documentation of workflow processes
- Prepare labels and maintain files as needed within the department
- Prepare correspondence as needed within the finance and accounting department
- Assist management with facility support and security issues
- Perform and review ad hoc analysis as required
- Report to management regarding the Risks and Mitigation strategies of the organization
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping, internal controls and accounting systems, making use of ERP software
- Advise in areas such as the design of risk control and data processing systems
- Provide support to internal or external audit teams and
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration
- Minimum five years of experience working in a corporate organization, preference given to Big4 audit experience.
- Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
- Highly skilled in use of Excel/PowerPoint
- Highly skilled in use of MS Word and must be a very good writer in order to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department which may include translation
- Excellent verbal skills
- Team player and ability to oversee team players
- Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to completed the required tasks
- Ability to work in stressful, last minute and deadline driven oriented tasks.
