AsPolicymaking Specialist, you will –
+Report to the Policymaking Senior Specialist (himself reporting to the Director leading the Special Projects division)
+Be part of the Special Projects division as one of the twoPolicymaking Specialists
+Support the Policymaking Senior Specialist in the development and implementation of Policymaking initiatives for the Client, including the development of a policy drafting process, and the issuance of new policies and legislations in the sector
+Be based in Abu Dhabi
+You will enhance Clients Policymaking landscape. You will support the development of company policies and legislations, adhering to local and international promising practices. You will assess relevant company policies, identify gaps and support issuance of new Policies & Legislations in line with company strategy.
+You will monitor the implementation of Client Policymaking initiatives. You will track the progress and delivery of Policymaking initiatives to ensure they implemented efficiently and effectively while meeting timeline, budget, and result targets.
+You will manage various stakeholders. You will work with external partners (e.g. consultants, Government agencies, etc.) and advise when needed.

+Understand the local landscape. You are familiar with UAE regulatory framework, especially when it comes to developing policies and legislation.

We value past experience in the following –
+Working in a legal role – preferably with experience in the local legal landscape
+Dealing with Abu Dhabi Government institutional laws, policies and guidelines
We are looking for the following educational qualifications (preferred) –
+Bachelor’s degree in Law or its equivalent
+Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
