Job Description & Summary A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.
Our Marketing and Public Relations team is responsible for PwC’s external media relations and social media strategy. As part of our team, you’ll help with social media account management, media relationship management, and identifying new and emerging opportunities for the Firm.
Role:
We are seeking to recruit a confident, dynamic and communication individual who can demonstrate a good understanding of the professional services market; eager to learn to develop and implement impactful communication campaigns; and bring new creativity, ideas and experience to the team. The successful applicant will be articulate, digitally savvy and have an innovative approach to PR and external communications.
Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the external communications team in identifying stories, trends and content that add value to communications campaigns.

  • Support in editing and writing compelling content (press releases, talking points and social media messages) for the desired/ planned communication campaigns across multiple platforms.

  • Support reviewing and translation of material ( if applicable)

  • Liaise with the marketing team to coordinate and execute communication requirements for desired campaigns and ensure all deadlines are met.

  • Maintain the list of media outlets/ journalists across the Middle East region.

  • Work with the external communications manager on developing and delivering impact & measurement reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

  • Develop coverage reports/Comms impact reports for specific campaigns

Requirements

  • Understanding of the professional services sector

  • Innovative thinker and can translate ideas into actions and results

  • Ideally at least 2- 4 years’ communications experience within a services / business-to business environment – in house or agency.

  • Experience of writing content for a variety of different audiences.

  • General journalistic or marketing experience is beneficial.

  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications ( Arabic & English)

  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with colleagues across the business.

  • Social media and networking expertise.
