Job Description

The MENA Fashion marketplace team is looking for a results-driven senior leader to drive seller growth and success in the region. This role will be the single-threaded owner to deliver results across local Seller recruitment and account management teams, in collaboration with Retail, Marketing and product teams. He/She will identify opportunities from accelerate growth and remove blockers, closely engaging with key local and worldwide stakeholders. This role will be a key member of the MENA Fashion marketplace leadership team.
To do this, you will need to identify top priority opportunities, set clear goals to drive Seller-facing teams, innovate on behalf of our Selling Partners and Customers, bring best practices from other locales to the region, create initiatives and solutions that enable scalable growth on Amazon and drive adoption of those solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior leader who excels at data driven decision making thrives in a high performance culture embraces ambiguity with critical thinking, collaborates effectively and influences leaders and ultimately deliver results through constant innovation and flawless execution.
This is a critical role for the success of the MENA Fashion marketplace business at this time given the growth trajectory and potential of the business. You will be expected to act as a thought leader with a high level of autonomy, bring impactful ideas to the table, and execute them through local teams as well as by influencing up/down and across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1- Manage the end-to-end performance of the MENA Fashion marketplace business across all key inputs - selection, availability, pricing and promotions, seller experience, customer experience
2- Identify opportunities to accelerate growth. Create plans to achieve those targets and rally the organization to deliver on them.
3- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals, and escalate quickly to remove blockers
4- Continuously audit the customer and seller experience and define/pilot/implement scalable changes and new solutions. Serve as an escalation point for Seller issues
5- Influence product roadmap. Prioritize solutions needed to address potential gaps or enable new opportunities. Ensure proper trade-offs are being made
6- Deliver results by shaping and leading a high-performing team via dotted line.
7- Create effective mechanisms to track key inputs to the business and report closely on their progress.
8- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles in partnership with Finance and the rest of the Amazon Fashion organization.
9- Partner with other regional leaders to identify best practices and scale them globally.
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
. Minimum 10 years of working experience, ideally in e-commerce, product management or leading sales organization.
. Proven track record of managing direct teams, and previous experience in delivering via dotted lines / leading without authority
. Relentless commitment for business goals and delivering results by influencing others and rolling up your sleeves.
. Passion for metrics and quantitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into action plans.
. Ability to deal with ambiguity, and respond flexibly to changes, in a very fast paced, international environment.
. Fluency in English language skills (both verbal and written)
. Background in e-commerce industry
