The main responsibility of the role is to build, execute and scale the data-driven ID&E global goals, strategy and initiatives for key AWS businesses and a cluster of key EMEA countries, and to hold leaders accountable to the execution of these initiatives in order to transform the culture.

You will take ownership of and accountability for leading the launch, execution and impact reporting of global ID&E solutions, strategies and programs in a data-driven manner for key AWS businesses. Using your stakeholder management skills, you will coach and partner with senior business leaders, vice presidents, HR, ID&E champions, Talent Acquisition, and ID&E points of contact who support the AWS business verticals, to drive the ID&E strategy as a trusted advisor.
As part of a global team, you will work to ensure we are maximizing the inclusion, diversity, and equity opportunities for current employees across geographies. You will assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, and balance the business needs as you implement the ID&E strategy.

Key job responsibilities
The role will report into the AWS Head of ID&E (EMEA). The primary responsibilities are to:
. Build, lead and execute on the goal and data-driven global ID&E strategy for 1) the largest AWS business, in partnership with the Business and HR Leaders in EMEA and 2) a cluster of key EMEA countries. This will also include partnering with process owners worldwide across multiple functional groups, within the ID&E team and in the respective AWS businesses to create and land the execution of the ID&E strategy

-Coach senior business leaders and HR to help build ID&E acumen and be a trusted advisor to drive accountability and transform the culture

-Dive deep into business data to design and manage programs to train, transition, and continually develop diverse talent, including influencing ID&E for loop participants, Bar Raisers, Managers and other leadership roles.

-Report on ID&E metrics, including government reporting and returns on investment on programs and interventions, to ensure we drive progress

-Provide thought leadership on ID&E subjects internally and where applicable (subject to approval) externally across the ecosystem

-Lead specific new/existing internal global projects and/or cadence within the ID&E team to have impact across geographies


. Bachelor's degree required
. 15+ years experience working in an HR or business function
. 7+ years program management experience specifically in Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity (ID&E)
. 5+ years change management experience
. Team Management experience


. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ID&E principles and jurisdictions across EMEA
. Demonstrated experience building and executing successful programs
. Experience leading large scale change management initiatives
. Business acumen, analytical skills, reliability and sound judgment
. Proven ability to influence without authority and lead strategic priorities through to results
. Proven ability to think strategically and work across multiple territories, entities and lines of business
. Demonstrated program management experience
. Has demonstrated comfort and confidence in dealing with ambiguity and leading through change
. Public speaking and interpersonal skills
. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high-volume workload and complex priorities
. Ability to build consensus and relationships at all levels of the organization
. Action oriented, attention to detail, strong organizational skills
