Job summary
We're looking for a forward thinking and analytically minded senior business and marketing expert to help us bring the future of Movies and TV to the Middle East and North Africa.

In this role you will develop, propose and execute local business and marketing plans to help Prime Video viewership growth in the MENA region. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Movies & TV, deep knowledge of Middle Eastern and North African marketplaces, and a track record of delivering successful large-scale customer growth strategies. Adept at persuading and influencing global partners, both internal and external, you will make recommendations to global Prime Video leadership on customer growth strategy, propose local goals and forecasts for approval at global level, work with content acquisition, product and business development teams, and regularly report progress to local teams, and global senior Prime Video leaders.

Success in this role requires the ability to recommend holistic customer-centric growth plans based on local marketplace expertise, a passion for big thinking combined with deep analytics, and the planning and stakeholder management skills to deliver world-class execution across multiple teams.

Key job responsibilities
  • Provide local inputs to Prime Video leadership in relation to the development of the marketing roadmap, and collaborate on the implementation of marketing plans to meet business and customer objectives.
  • Oversee the full marketing calendar, supporting how to bring brand and show campaigns to market.
  • Monitor and track Prime Video leadership's marketing spend across regions, campaigns and marketing channels in accordance with leadership directives.
  • Work with multiple internal and external teams to drive alignment with local plans, including support to content acquisition and original production, product, business development, research, external partners and agencies, finance and marketing.
  • Provide regular progress reports to local teams and global senior leadership, up to VP level.
  • Support the development and implementation of local marketing processes, taking global best practices and help to adopting them to the region.
  • Monitor and track competitive programming and marketing strategies to provide regular updates on developments.

A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive years of professional non-internship marketing or business planning experience.
  • Experience working with large cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to execute high-performing marketing campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Track record of combining data analysis and high judgement to deliver results.
  • Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video and paid social media.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Confident communicator (verbal and written).
  • Track record of succeeding in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience working in TV & Film, entertainment and new platforms.
  • Experience working in the MENA region in a nascent business.
